Grand Theater Shooting

Today, July 23rd, marks the 2nd anniversary of the tragic shooting at the Grand Theater in Lafayette. Eleven people were shot. Two of the shooting victims, 21-year-old Mayci Breaux and 31-year-old Jillian Johnson died as a result. Yesterday UL's history department hosted their "History Harvest" at Moncus Park to give people the opportunity to talk about and reflect on one of the darkest moments in Lafayette's history.
