The Leadership Institute of Acadiana (LIA) is excited to announce the Leadership Lafayette Class XXXVII.

Rigzone is hosting a FREE job fair specifically for Halliburton, one of the world’s leading suppliers of products and services in the oil and gas industry.

The oil field service company says the 36 positions were eliminated earlier this month.

One company has posted 50 new jobs in the last 48 hours. Some of those jobs are right here in Lafayette too.

Fuelfix.com is reporting that in an internal memo, it states that the company plans to "flatten the company's business by cutting management posts".

As gas prices plummet through the U.S., oil and gas giant Halliburton has announced they will be making thousands of cuts in multiple markets.

The deal comes shortly after talks had stalled and Halliburton prepared to go hostile with its takeover bid.
