We were fortunate enough to have Santa take a few minutes of his time and call us from his North Pole workshop this evening to give us an update on his progress.
A few weeks back Ian called us up and said he'd need to get a replacement on a particular weekend because he was going to the land of fruits and nuts, aka Hollywood, to participate on a web-based TV show.
Traffic on Interstate 10 East is backed up past the Scott exit as drivers anxiously await the opening of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.
The bridge remains closed this morning because of the ice that accumulated on the structure over the last 48 hours...
Author's note: High school seniors from around Acadiana will be graduating this week. My younger brother is one of them. They will be receiving advice from relatives, teachers, and movie producers for the next few days. I figured I'd throw my two cents in and give this year's graduates a few words of wisdom in this open letter...
