One of the greatest basketball players of all time will be getting immortalized soon with a statue on the campus where he enjoyed his greatest success.
A famous statue in New Orleans has gone missing after Hurricane Ida. The life-size, bronze statue of a young woman named “Michelle” who is also known as “The Mermaid” who sat on the edge of a fountain near Decatur Street is no longer there.
The town of Sugar Land, Texas recently installed a couple of sculptures in the Town Square's public plaza, but instead of enjoying them, people are criticizing the city for one of the statues.
In the good ole United States of America, we love paying tribute to our past. We have monument and statues and sculptures and many more other wonderful structures to tributize our legacy.
If you are going to be joining us in New Orleans for the New Orleans Bowl in a couple of weeks there is no doubt that you will be spending some time in the French Quarter or Jackson Square. I like those parts of New Orleans for the most part. The part I don't like is the guys that dress up like statues. They get me every time.
