These Are The Germiest Public Places

This is the time of year that I feel a little squeamish when it comes to spreading germs, especially since we're inside a lot more during winter. And if you are wondering what the definition of a 'germaphobe' is, it's 'a person with an extreme fear of germs and an obsession with cleanliness'. Not exactly me, but I still get a little nervous about getting infected with a cold or flu virus.

That being said, I do carry a travel size can of Lysol when I'm on the road, and yes, I actually use it. The folks at the Weather Channel have a list of the germiest public places, so I wanted to pass it along to you. And lets be honest, warn you, as well. Now excuse me while I go wash my hands.

• Grocery Store Cart Handles
• Table Surfaces and Condiments in Restaurants
• Laundromats
• Public Restrooms (duh)
• Gas Pump Handles
• Children's Playgrounds / Sandboxes
• Office Desktop Computer. More germs than a public toilet, and women's are worse than men's!
• Remote Control
• Cutting Boards
• Kitchen Sink
• Cell Phones
• Money
• Electronic Stores. Lot's of touching going on here!
