The brilliance of Jerry Seinfeld is very far reaching. His understated humor and quick but very dry delivery will catch even the most cynical mind off guard. Even when you don't want to laugh you find yourself chuckling at some of Jerry's observations.

In this clip, which is from his hit TV show Seinfeld, Jerry talks about answering machines. His description is eerily similar to how many of us use social media such as Facebook. Let's face it most of the people you have as friends aren't really friends. They are people you know and that is about it.

It's funny how far we've come with technology and just how little we have progressed as a society. I wonder what social media was back in the cave days? Oh  yeah, MySpace.
