If you've ever had friends from out of state down for a visit, you know that it doesn't take long before you begin talking about the food scene in Lafayette. It's definitely a draw and one of the highlights that makes the Hub City a popular tourist destination.
We're at a point now where we can find virtually any kind of food we want and more than a few we maybe didn't know we wanted until a new restaurant arrived and got us hooked. TripAdvisor.com picked these restaurants as Lafayette's best of the past year, based on user reviews. Some of these are from locals but many more are from folks from out of state.
