(KMDL-FM) Over the next several days, there will be two kinds of people in our country. There will be one group of people who are frustrated, mad, angry, inconvenienced, and stressed to the max. Actually, as far as I am concerned, TSA does the opposite; they make me feel safer when I fly. What Does TSA Say About Packing Wrapped Gifts in Carry-On Bags?

Many of you might be transporting wrapped gifts in your carry-on bags or checked luggage. We know you want to keep those items a secret until Christmas Day, but the fact of the matter is this. If a package sets off an alarm on a TSA screening computer, the package will have to be opened and inspected.

One helpful hint from the TSA Agent in the video is this: if you must travel with gifts in your luggage, use gift bags or gift boxes. This way, the packages can be easily opened without damaging the contents or the "presentation". This way, your package stays perfect for Christmas, and we can all fly safely to our destination.
