It's looking like a pretty good day and night, weather-wise, in Lafayette on Saturday, as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns get set to take on the Troy Trojans in a huge Sun Belt Conference game.

The forecast is calling for a chance of a morning shower, but then turning mostly clear throughout the day, with cooler temperatures.

The afternoon high will warm up to around 64 degrees before falling into the lower-mid 50's later on in the game.

The temperature should be in the upper 50's for tailgating in the morning, before warming up to right around 64 degrees at the scheduled 4 o'clock kickoff time.

Expect the temperature to fall in the second half, after the sun goes down, into the mid 50's.

Louisiana, who has won eight of their last nine games, is currently 9-2 on the season, including a 5-1 Sun Belt Conference mark, while Troy will enter at 5-5, and 3-3 respectively.

You can hear all the play-by-play on ESPN 1420, espn1420.com, and the ESPN 1420 mobile app, beginning with the Tailgate Show at 2:00 pm.

In addition, the game can be heard on as Hot 107.9, 1079ishot.com, and the Hot 107.9 mobile app, beginning with the official pregame show at 3:00 pm.

Kickoff time is slated for 4 o'clock.

The game can be viewed on ESPN+.

Remember; it's Blackout Day at Cajun Field, so wear black.

Louisiana will also salute those wonderful individuals who are serving/have served in our great military.

Also, country music singer/songwriter Dustin Sonnier will be playing Under The Oak Tree for your tailgating pleasure.

It should be a great day!
