UL Lafayette Fraternity Under Investigation

A UL fraternity is being investigated for an alleged hazing incident.

The Theta Xi chapter is being investigated after a complaint was filed by the university over an alleged hazing incident.

Senior Communications Representative for the university, Eric Maron says that the chapter has been placed on an interim suspension while the dean of students conducts an investigation.

Theta Xi will remain operational, according to the university, but will cease all activity while the investigation is underway.

UL Police have confirmed that an investigation is ongoing, but did not give any details.
