Visitation Location for Fallen Louisiana State Trooper Has Changed

The venue for Senior State Trooper Steven Vincent has been changed in order to accommodate the expected large number of people expected to attend.

Visitation for the first day of services will now be held at Lake Charles Civic Center Rosa Hart Theater from 3pm to 9pm on Friday, August 28th.The theater is located at 900 Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles.

Vincent's funeral will be held Saturday, August 29th at Our Lady of Heaven Catholic Church in Lake Charles at noon. Burial will follow at Lacassine Cemetery in Lacassine, Louisiana.

As you recall, Vincent succumbed to his injuries after he was shot by a suspect during the course of a traffic incident this past Sunday afternoon. He is survived by his wife Katherine, 9-year-old son Ethan, his brothers, Louisiana State Police Trooper Terrell Vincent and Town of Iowa Police Chief Keith Vincent, as well as a large extended family.
