Westbound Lanes Are Blocked On The Basin Due To 18-Wheeler Fire

7:11 am UPDATE: The fire is out, but both lanes remain closed.

An 18-wheeler is fully engulfed in flames on the Atchafalaya Basin bridge blocking both lanes. The location was reported as mile marker 118 on the westbound side. A law enforcement source says both lanes are closed.
