What Is An Appropriate Age for Kids To Do Chores Around the House?
Did you do chores when you were growing up? If you were raised in the south, it's a pretty good bet that you did. I certainly had my weekly duties when I was young, and so did my children.
The big dilemma in some households is not about whether to make your kids help out with chores, but at what age should they begin. We always had an allowance when I was growing up, but we actually worked for it!
Montessori has an age appropriate chart to determine when children are ready for certain chores around the house - use this as your handy guide for the summer!
