Rice Capital Championship Gumbo Cook-Off
Enterprise Center Grounds in Historic Downtown Crowley
The event is open to the public throughout the day, with delicious hot gumbos for everyone to try at 12:00 p.m. A $5 gate fee will allow you to sample unlimited gumbo entries. Live music will also be provided. Other events and attractions are planned for the day.
Sertoma Cajun Air Festival
Lafayette Regional Airport
Celebrating 25 years of soaring entertainment at the Lafayette Regional Airport, The Sertoma Cajun Air Festival provides great fun for the whole family. The line-up of attractions and performances will thrill all ages. Don't miss one of the biggest shows in Acadiana. A major portion of the proceeds benefit local nonprofits and fund autism research. Gates will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 8am-5pm.
Franklin Harvest Moon Festival
Historic Downtown Franklin
Grab your chairs, bring the family and get ready for some good fun in downtown Franklin. Some of the events include a chili cook-off, car show, 5K run/walk, children's activities and music galore.
Yambilee Festival

UL Ragin' Cajuns Fall World Series
M.L. "Tigue" Moore FieldThe Ragin' Cajuns baseball team competes in their annual intrasquad Fall World Series. The final game of the 3 game series is Saturday at 4pm. Admission to the series is free.
