Let this next story be a cautionary tale to anyone reading crappy books -- "BUY them, don't check them out at the library!"

OK, all kidding aside, this is a sad story. A New Mexico woman named Lori Teel was arrested and spent a night in jail for failing to return the book Twilight and the DVD for The Twilight Saga: New Moon. She borrowed the book and movie back in 2010 and obviously forgot to return them.

How did that get her arrested? Well, apparently local police showed up at her house to arrest her husband as part of an assault investigation. But when cops got there, they got a "hit" on her name from a summons issued as a result of the unreturned books.

Teel was brought to jail where she spent the night. She had to leave her two children with a neighbor she barely knew.

"For me, it was very awful because I have never been in trouble for anything in my life," says Teel. She was released on $610 bond.
