This discussion of cellphones and how to keep them looking clean and new came about as a result of little accident we had in the control room the other morning.  Krista was removing her fingernails, yes the fake ones, and she discovered that acetone will eat right through a Styrofoam cup. The resulting haz-mat spill did some serious damage to Krista's iPhone case. That lead to talk of how do you keep the screen from getting scratched and nicked.

I have a problem with scratches since I carry my phone in my pocket. I always have keys, coins and other items in there too and they tend to make the clear screen harder to see through than a Waffle House window at midnite. So how can you protect your screen and keep your phone working and looking like it's brand new?
