Zeus Mediterranean Kitchen to Open New Location in Scott

Scott, Louisiana is "where the west begins and the trail never ends." (Ok, that's at least the way I've heard it ad-libbed before.) Soon, it'll be where the trail continues for Zeus Mediterranean Kitchen.

The popular Acadiana-based restaurant brand is set to take over the former Hot Wok at 5539 Cameron Street.

According to Developing Lafayette, this will be the 12th location for Zeus in Acadiana. There is also one restaurant in Lake Charles.

Zeus Mediterranean Kitchen is owned by the Balbeisi Brothers Restaurant Group and "has deep roots that embrace the unique Mediterranean cuisine and culture native" to the Balbeisi family.

Some of the popular delights that Zeus serves up include chicken shawarma, gyros, hummus and fresh salads.

Residents of Scott don't have too much longer to wait to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine in their town as the tentative opening date for Zeus in Scott is early August of 2020.
