Today, KATC will partner with the United Way to raise money to help those effected all throughout Acadiana by the Louisiana floods.

The Community Foundation of Acadiana has established the 'In The Line of Duty' fund to help the families of the slain police officers and those who were injured in the attack.

A benefit is happening this Saturday for Opelousas teen Sierra Randall who is battling Leukemia. Sierra is currently traveling to Memphis, Tennessee a couple times a month for treatment. Family and friends are hosting a "Health-A-Rama" this Saturday, July 9th.

There will be a huge benefit for Brittni this Saturday, June 25 at Warehouse 535 on Garfield Street in Lafayette from 11am until 6pm.

The 14th annual Cajun Woodstock is set for this April 23-24, 2016 at Church Point City Park. The family friendly event features live entertainment, food, fun and more.

From 4-9pm, 20% of all sales will go to the #teambrittni fund to help the family with expenses while Brittni fights leukemia.

For each unit of blood donated, credit will be given to Brittni's account in Florida to help reduce expenses.
