Sometimes it seems like we jump straight into Christmas mode the day after Halloween, but I really love Thanksgiving, and do everything I can to try and make it special. There are a lot of folks who don't know how to properly carve a turkey, and I'm one of them. Let's face it, you might only get one, or possibly two, times a year to practice your technique!

Whole Foods gave me one very important tip, and that is: don't try to put on a show. Carve away, but do it in your kitchen, and then present the platter to all the 'ooohs and ahhhs' that will be waiting for you.Things can get a little messy, and we all know that presentation is everything.

Watch the video below from Williams Sonoma to get a visual on what you need to do, and get ready to have Happy Thanksgiving, y'all!
