Get ready because this weekend is Lydia's Cajun Food Fest, sponsored by the Lydia Cancer Association. What is better than a two day food festival?... I'm not quite sure. Be sure to grab your family and friends for this one, folks! You're in for a big treat this Friday and Saturday.

"The main attraction this year will probably be the drawing for our Home for Hope house," said Ronald Landry, LCA President. The festival's proceeds will benefit cancer patients in Iberia, Vermilion, St. Martin and St. Mary Parish. The food fest will start Friday, September 7 at 5 p.m. with kids carnival rides, food vendors and rockin' music by The Bad Boys from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. and Horace Trahan and The Ossun Express from 9- 11 p.m.

This is going to be Lydia's 10th annual food festival. Come out this weekend to taste delicious Cajun dishes and enjoy carnival rides, face painting, cool cars, live bands, and arts and crafts!
