Movies in the Parc Series in Downtown Lafayette, Louisiana to Kick-Off This Saturday, October 7

It is getting to be that time of year when there are lots of great activities happening in and around Acadiana. You know, it's finally not over 100 degrees!

One of those wonderful events is the upcoming Movies in the Parc series produced by Downtown Lafayette Unlimited. The Fall 2023 movies will happen on October 7, November 4, and December 9, 2023.

Movies in the Parc, presented by Lafayette Kiwanis, is a free outdoor movie series that features kid-friendly, family classics for all to enjoy.

Before the movie each night, be sure to get there early for an array of pre-movie activities that everyone can enjoy including fun jumps, face painting, crafts, and more.

There will also be food trucks on site so can grab a bite to eat. Of course, drinks will be available for purchase as well.

Movie-goers are encouraged to bring their chairs and blankets, then sit back and enjoy the show.

The first Movies in the Parc is coming up this Saturday, October 7. It will be held at Parc Sans Souci with festivities starting at 5:30 pm.

The movie being shown is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. (The fourth installment out of the eight movies in the Harry Potter franchise's series.)
