Late night crash leaves portions of Lafayette without power. The area near the intersection of Dulles and Ambassador has been without power for several hours.

Entergy reported and repaired power outages in Scott in the overnight hours.

A power outage in the Superdome during the biggest televised event of the year...  Was it a last ditch effort by the 49ers?  Was it all part of New Orleans Saints Owner Tom Benson's plan to get a new venue for his team?  Was it ol' Marie Laveau getting her revenge on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell?  We may never know, but we can laugh about it, courtesy of the jokers on Facebook.

The 2013 Super Bowl between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens was delayed when the lights went out in the Superdome at Super Bowl 47. Watch as half the stadium goes dark in a matter of moments. Latest news from officials is that power is slowly returning, there have been no injuries or issues reported and the game shall continue monetarily...

Power went out in Carencro for a little over 2,800 Entergy customers after a power line went down. This occurred around 3:00am.

UPDATE: As of 4:30 L-U-S says that 85% of affected residents have had power restored. They are still investigating what caused the outage.
