While most of the focus of the lottery playing world has revolved around the increasing jackpot of the Powerball game. Here's a gentle reminder that there is just one multi-state lottery game that can pay off big for players.

Friday night's Mega Millions game did not return a big jackpot winner but it did return $10,000 to a player who purchased their ticket in Lafayette. According to the Louisiana Lottery, the ticket matched four of the white ball numbers and the Mega Ball.

The $10,000 winner was purchased at Kleiser's Chevron on East Gloria Switch Road. By the way, the numbers, in case you suddenly realized you need to check yours, from Friday night were:

07-36-58-60-62-MB 10 Megaplier x3.

The top prize in the Mega Millions game is estimated to be $57 million for Tuesday's drawing at 9:59. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday is estimated to reach $750 million before the ping pong balls drop Wednesday night.

Good Luck, play responsibly.
