It's my favorite part of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I even have it for some snacks. It's dessert. That sweet treat that is a great way to wrap up a great meal. Whether it's a scoop of ice cream after a burger, a sliver of pie after roast beef, or something that's hard to pronounce but delicious, I will stop for dessert every time.

So our challenge for our Chef in residence and former DJ Jill McCoy was this. I need an impressive dessert that will make it seem as if I know how to cook but it needs to be simple enough to create between innings of a baseball game.  Needless to say our fearless foodie femme fatale has struck again. Don't let the name scare you. It's all part of the presentation. Once you see the ingredients and how easy it is to make. You'll be ready to fool your friends too.

I know that name has probably scared you away but be brave little solider. When you push the red button and see just how easy it is to create this wonderfully fresh and flavorful dessert you might actually want to spend some time learning how to pronounce it.

Jill's recipe actually includes some really easy shortcuts. That's the joy of cooking, sometimes the ready made items are just as good or better than you can create at home. The time you save in the kitchen means more time having fun and enjoying your guests and your creations.

This recipe has two killer shortcuts and the most work you'll do is slicing a banana or a strawberry and almost all of us can do that. I can  highly recommend this dessert as a great summertime treat. It's light, it's fresh, it's cool, it's very healthy and it's delicious. Don't be shy, give this one a try and let us know what you think.
