A Mysterious Stranger Bought This Young Mom A Drink On A Train, And The Reason Why Is Great

Sammie Welch, 23, and her 3-year-old son, Rylan were riding a train in England from Birmingham to Plymouth when all of a sudden, someone anonymously sent her a drink along with a note. What the note said, I think, is fantastic.

The note says -

Have a drink on me.

You are a credit to your generation, polite & teaching the little boy good manners.

Man on train at table with glasses & hat.

Have a lovely evening.

P.S: I have a daughter your age. Someone did the same for her once! Hope when she has children she is as good a mother as you!

Welch told MailOnline: “[Rylan] was good and there was no crying. It was quite exhausting for him but then he fell asleep with his head on my knee. The train was quite busy. A couple of people got on and were standing up and I offered to put him on my knee so they could have a seat.”

She says she must have read the note about 20 times because she was so moved by it.
