A&E’s LIVE PD Set To Film With Lafayette Police
Starting tomorrow night (Friday, July 12th) A&E's Live PD takes to the street with the fine men and women of the Lafayette Police Department.
Department spokeswoman Bridgette Dugas says that the show will cover the happenings of the police department for the next several weeks.
If you watch the show, you will know that officers from various departments across the country are featured live as they respond to 911 cars for assistance.
It may prove to be even more interesting as some part of Tropical Storm Barry will be making its presence known in Acadiana.
The hugely popular television show began in 2016, and it follows law enforcement officers as they are called to different emergency situations.
For those who love the show, there is never a lack of action, from car chases and crashes, to arrests, to officers just getting people the assistance that they need.
You can catch Live PD, featuring the Lafayette Police Department, starting tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. Central, and this Saturday night, July 13th at the same time.
The show's crew will be in town doing ride-alongs for several weeks as they shadow the officers while they work.
