American Idol Holding 2 Auditions In Louisiana – Here’s The Scoop

American Idol said farewell last year and closed up shop. The show decided to bow out due to declining ratings after 15 seasons. If you were a fan, rejoice because ABC has just announced they're bringing American Idol back for 2018. Pop star Katy Perry will be on board as one of the judges, but that's the only judge we know of so far.  As the show makes it trek across the country holding auditions, they've announced they're making stops in Shreveport and New Orleans.

American Idol auditions will be held in Shreveport on September 4th, and New Orleans Thursday, September 14th. The Shreveport stop will be part of the American Idol Bus Tour, and the New Orleans stop will open auditions. If you're looking to compete, you must be between 15 and 28 years old. You can also audition for America Idol by submitting a video through the show's website.
