A crash involving two 18-wheelers in the Breaux Bridge area has closed both westbound lanes of I-10.

One person was killed in the crash that involved four vehicles. .

Traffic is backing up in this area and work continues to put out a fire in one of the trucks involved.

If you are driving westbound, police officers will make drivers take Louisiana Highway 415 in Lobdell. You will not be allowed to take I-10.
