LAFAYETTE, La. - Morgan Wallen is currently on his "Still the Problem Tour" which is taking him across America playing some of the biggest stadiums. It runs through early August when it wraps up in Philadelphia.

This past weekend, the tour took him and his openers to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. You know, the stadium home to the Las Vegas Raiders.

What Is Morgan Wallen's Walkout Tradition?

There is always quite the anticipation once Morgan is set to hit the stage as the now-famous "Walkout" live video feed begins. It starts with Morgan walking the halls and corridors of the arena ready to hit the stage. He's usually surrounded by security and road crew.

Then at some point, he's joined by a person or persons who are notable or famous in their own right. These folks are often times connected to that area. They might be an actor, athlete, comedian...you name it. It's usually someone most of us know and love.

What Happened at the Vegas Show — and What Wallen Said on Stage

That didn't happen this past Friday night. The live video popped up inside the stadium showing Morgan entering the shot and walking the backstage halls. Fans were anxiously anticipating a celebrity or two to join him and it never happened.

Later on stage, Morgan kind of let his so-called Vegas "friends" have it. "I gotta say too, man y'all got some flaky-a** people in this town. I had like five different people lined up to do the walkout and they all bailed on me kinda last-minute," Morgan shared on stage with a bit of disgust in his voice.

And by the sounds of it, the crowd didn't appreciate the shade he threw from the stage, but you be the judge.

Night Two Redemption: Golden Knights Players Join the Walkout

Things went back to normal, thankfully, on the second night in Las Vegas. Morgan walked out with hockey players from the Las Vegas Golden Knights, Jack Eichel and Noah Hanifin, so that kind of redeemed things for all parties.

None of this would have been a problem had the tour made a stop in Lafayette. We would have had a line of local, regional, or statewide celebrities lined up and ready to strut to the stage with one of country music's biggest stars.

We threw that hypothetical question out to our audience. We asked: "If Morgan Wallen was playing a show in Acadiana, which local celebrity would you like to see do the walkout with him?"
