Hopefully, the minimal forecast holds because Santa Claus is coming to Acadiana! Christmas parades roll through Sunday, and we are ready to hear those sleigh bells jingling.

A footnote to the list: There will be no parade in St. Martinville this year. However, we all applaud the untiring efforts of Mr. George Choplin who devoted so much time and energy to what he called "his infant."
