Today those of us who were not as deeply affected by Hurricane Delta can do a little giving back. It's the Spirit of Acadiana Day of Giving. It's today and your help is greatly needed and will be greatly appreciated. Our local television news partner KATC is teaming up with the United Way to foster a supply drive to aid those who were adversely affected by the storm.

The event will run from 6 this morning until 6 this evening at the United Way of Acadiana facility which is located at 215 E. Pinhook. The television station along with United Way of Acadiana, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Catholic Charities of Acadiana is the driving force behind this event.
