The Denver Broncos have canceled Friday's practice after three team members tested positive for COVID-19. The team will instead conduct meetings today remotely.

Of course, the Broncos are scheduled to play the New Orleans Saints this Sunday afternoon in Denver. The Saints are scheduled to depart for the Mile High City on Saturday.

The Broncos say that one of its players along with two staff members tested positive earlier today. It's not known yet which player it is.

However, the Broncos did place backup quarterback Jeff Driscoll on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday. Head coach Vic Fangio told reporters on Thursday that the team practiced yesterday because they determined that Driscoll had no close contacts with the rest of the team.

"Working closely with medical experts and the league office, we will take all steps necessary to ensure the well-being of the players, coaches and staff," a statement from the Broncos read.

Denver is not the only team dealing with positive tests this week. The Baltimore Ravens' game against the Pittsburgh Steelers had to be moved back from Thursday to Sunday due to several positive tests within the organization.
