Drive-Thru Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway Saturday in Lafayette

Healthy Blue and State Rep. Vincent Pierre have teamed up to help make sure people in need don't have to stress over having a turkey for their families this Thanksgiving.

This Saturday (1/14/20) Healthy Blue and State Rep. Vincent Pierre are holding a no-contact drive-thru turkey giveaway starting at 11:30 am at the Super 1 Foods on W. Willow Street in Lafayette.

The event is free, open to the public and turkeys will be given away on a first-come first-served basis according to KATC.

Around 250 turkeys are expected to be given away, free of charge.

As for now, the event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 am as stated above, however, the start time may be rescheduled to begin earlier out of respect for shoppers and in an effort to not cause traffic issues.
