Drone Footage Of Abandoned ‘Emerald Hills Golf Resort’ In North Louisiana [Video]

At one time, this golf resort in North Louisiana located near Toledo Bend was a pretty hopping place. A good friend of mine worked summers there when it was called Toro Hills Golf Resort when I was in high school. It went through a few name changes throughout the years, Hodges Garden Motor Inn, Golf Course and Restaurant, then Toro Hills Golf Resort, and finally Emerald Hills Golf Resort. Today I found this cool drone footage showing the now abandoned resort.

I'm not sure what it is about abandoned buildings, but I can't help but want to check them out. It's almost like you're going back in time. When I see things like this, I can't help but think of the memories people made when the buildings were functional.
