The actress who played Elly Mae Clampett in the Beverly Hillbillies television series has reached a settlement in her lawsuit over a Barbie doll that uses her likeness as Elly Mae.

Actress Donna Douglas, who now lives near Baton Rouge, settled with CBS and toymaker Mattel. It was reported that she was seeking $75,000. No word on the exact settlement amount.

CBS and Mattel said in court documents that they didn't need her approval because the network holds exclusive rights to the character.
