Elon Musk Plans On Sending His Personal Car To Mars
I had the chance to tour the SpaceX facility in Hawthorne California over the Summer. It's really something to see. The hangar or laboratory or whatever they call it is as clean as an operating room in a hospital. The place is staffed by some of the brightest minds in the world who are passionately engaged in the SpaceX mission.
The guy behind that mission is billionaire Elon Musk. In addition to SpaceX, he founded Tesla the high-performance electric car company and the company with the trendiest hat in America right now, The Boring Company. The Boring Company is the group that is currently digging a tunnel under Los Angeles.
I've never met Elon Musk, I'd like to meet him though. I am pretty sure he'd be bored with me in about:12 seconds because he always seems to have his mind on something well down the road. Musk recently tweeted this about the launch of the latest SpaceX rocket the Falcon Heavy.
And if that weren't enough, Musk tweeted this about the first payload of this high-performance heavy lifting space machine.
That's right he's sending his car on a mission to Mars. I think that's pretty cool. Sure it's out there but if you don't think "out there" you're only going to stay right where you are. I can't wait to see the dashcam video from Elon's first trip through a tunnel his team has dug on Mars.
In a world where the only way you can survive is by getting to pay attention to you, Elon Musk is getting us all to pay a lot more than attention. Occupy Mars!
