Entertainment for French Quarter Festival

We have so many great festivals here in Louisiana, and one of my favorites takes place April 7-10 in New Orleans.The 33rd annual French Quarter Festival just released their entertainment lineup, and it includes over 1,700 world class performers, 400 musical performances on twenty-three stages, and lots of Louisiana musical legends! The festival has the distinction of being the largest showcase of Louisiana music in the world, and is completely free! This year the festival will be celebrating French artists in New Orleans, so it promises to be a very eclectic musical happening.

The French Quarter Festival takes places in and around the historic French Quarter in New Orleans, and also includes a Festival Gala, and lots of special events leading up to the 4 days of official events. Some of my favorite performers are below, but be sure to check out the entire 4 day lineup.
