Free Covid-19 Test Sites in Acadiana This Week

The Louisiana Department of Health Office of Public Health, in conjunction with the Louisiana National Guard, and City and Parish governments, have released locations for free testing for COVID-19 for the week of August 10-14. All testing will take place from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm CST. There are several basic regulations that go along with the testing, that are listed below. For further requirements check out the LDH website

• Bring ID and wear a mask
• Anyone 5 years of age or older can be tested
• The test is a self administered nasal swab
• Results will be available online, and the current waiting time is 7-10 days
• Testing could possible be cancelled due to weather conditions
