Fun Things to Do in Lafayette, Louisiana This Weekend — Oct. 20-22, 2023

It is that time of year in south Louisiana when the weather is nice(r) and there are lots of fantastic, fun events happening in and around the area.

We'll stick to the Acadiana area and hook you up with a bit of a rundown of things to do this Friday, October 20 through Sunday, October 22.

Oh, grab some sunblock if you're going to be outside. KATC meteorologist Daniel Phillips is calling for high temperatures pushing 90 degrees each day with very little chance of rain.

Here you go, some things you and the family can get out and do this weekend:

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20

Bach Lunch - Parc Sans Souci (Downtown Lafayette) - 11:00 am

86th Annual International Rice Festival - Downtown Crowley

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21

19th Annual St. Joseph's Catholic Church Tailgating Cook-Off - Loreauville Park - 9:00 am - 10:00 pm

Boo Bayou - Vermilionville (300 Fisher Rd in Lafayette) - 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
