Gorilla Glue Woman Now Selling Her Own ‘Bonded for Life’ Merchandise
We take a break from winter storm coverage to bring you this important update regarding the Gorilla Glue lady, aka Tessica Brown. She now has her own line of merchandise.
Doh!
Brown is taking advantage of her 15 minutes of fame by selling t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and more branded with "Bonded for Life" on the website Tessicamerch.com.
I know, I know, "why are y'all giving her any more publicity?" The answer is, "some of us are still fascinated by her story!" (I know, shame on me.)
Of course, Brown went viral on Instagram earlier this month for using Gorilla Glue to hold her hairdo down after she ran out of her normal Got2B hairspray.
The mishap eventually found her flying to Beverly Hills to have a 4-hour surgery performed by Dr. Michael Obeng. He performed the procedure for free and was able to successfully remove the glue from her hair and save the hair she had remaining from the ordeal.
Before that though, Brown set up a GoFundMe page to help her with medical expenses. As of February 12, she raised $22,375 from over 1,400 donors.
At one point, she threatened to sue the Gorilla Glue Company. That apparently hasn't happened yet and we're pretty sure she'll just milk America for a few more minutes of fame and money instead.
