Anyone who flooded back in 2016 is currently on edge, especially in Youngsville's Highland Ridge subdivision.

Facebook user Jessica St. Martin shared the following photos and videos of flooding in the neighborhood in the wake of Barry.

St. Martin says she is "95% sure" they are "going to take on water again." Her family was able to make it out to another family member's apartment in Lafayette, but others may not be as lucky.

Speaking with Youngsville councilman Lindy Bolgiano, he tells me that authorities are monitoring flooded areas closely and the water is "draining rapidly." They also believe that rains that are expected later "won't be significant enough" to cause widespread flooding inside of homes.

Regardless, authorities warn residents to take shelter and to please call 911 if they need rescue or assistance.
