  • Fort Jesup - Many - built during the Louisiana Purchase as a border between us and Texas
  • Longfellow - Evangeline State Historic Site - St Martinville - the oldest state park in Louisiana
  • Mansfield State Historic Site - Mansfield - site of the Civil War Battle of Mansfield in 1864
  • Locust Grove State Historic Site - St Francisville - once owned by Confederate President Jefferson Davis
