Krewe Des Chiens Parade Returning in 2019

One of the most beloved Mardi Gras parades in Lafayette is returning after a one-year hiatus.

Krewe Des Chiens is back for 2019!

Lafayette's only dog parade was canceled last year after a change in the organization's leadership.

The Krewe is set to roll again in downtown Lafayette with a parade date of February 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm.

According to the Krewe's website, thanks is given to Wild Cat Spaynation for assisting in next year's parade.

Krewe Des Chiens began in 1998 and is a non-profit group that raises funds for animal assistance organizations throughout Acadiana. To date, the group has raised more than $400,000 in support of their mission.
