LCG Memorial Day Trash and Bus Schedule

As we head into Memorial Day Weekend, LGC has released its holiday trash pick-up and city bus schedule.

Lafayette Consolidated Government Memorial Day Weekend Schedule

Lafayette Consolidated Government has announced there will be no change to the garbage and recycling pickup schedule for Memorial Day Weekend.

Service will continue as normal for Monday, May 29.

City busses will not run and the Lafayette Transit System will be closed on Memorial Day.

Regular Daytime, Night Owl, and Paratransit services will resume on Tuesday, May 30.

KATC reports that the Compost Facility will be closed on Saturday, May 28, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 30.

While we're talking trash, Acadiana Waste Services will be taking over garbage and recycling services for Lafayette Parish and unincorporated areas of Lafayette Parish, and the deadline to request a recycling bin or additional garbage bin is approaching.
