Lafayette High Presents ‘Once Upon A Mattress’

It has never happened in  real life, a daunting mother thinking no girl is good enough to marry her son. Okay, it happens all the time in real life and theater goers will have the chance to see the hilarious consequences of this line of thinking played out in royal style when the Performing Arts Academy at Lafayette High School presents Once Upon a Mattress.

The show is an adaptation of the classic children's tale the Princess and the Pea. This musical theater performance is scheduled for the theater at 3000 West Congress in Lafayette. That is also known as the auditorium on campus at Lafayette High. Tickets are ten dollars and will be available at the door from any cast member of the show. Performances are scheduled for February 1,2 and 3.
