Lafayette, Louisiana’s Cajun’s Choice Release New Breakfast Seasoning

Here in Acadiana, we season everything, and we season it well.

It's kind of our thing.

While new Cajun and Creole seasonings seem to deliciously pop up every day, we haven't really had a Louisiana breakfast seasoning...until now.

The folks that brought us Cajun's Choice Seasonings and Ragin Cajun seasonings, Acadian Kitchens, have now released a new breakfast seasoning Cajun’s Choice Breakfast Blend Seasoning.

It all began in 1986 with the launch of Bootsie’s branded Roux & Dry Beans across South Louisiana.

By 1990, Southern Seasonings was founded in Broussard, Louisiana by Tom Riggs, and it acquired Bootsie’s, expanding into manufacturing branded and co-packed products.

In 1994, the company developed Ragin' Cajun Fixin’s, which was distributed throughout the Southeast at regional and specialty retailers.

When 2016 rolled around, a major expansion occurred when Southern Seasonings acquired Cajun's Choice Louisiana Foods.

The following year, in 2017, Acadian Kitchens acquired Southern Seasonings, further expanding the Ragin Cajun and Cajun’s Choice brands nationwide.

Cajun's Choice Premium Breakfast Blend

In a recent press release, the folks at Acadian Kitchens announced the launch of a brand new seasoning, the Cajun's Choice Premium Blend Breakfast Blend Seasoning.

That's right, a Cajun seasoning for breakfast.

When you start to look at the suggested uses for this new breakfast seasoning, no doubt your mind will begin to race thinking about all of the different foods you'll want to try this on.

Some of the suggested uses include "coffee, pancakes, cereal, waffles, toast, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, donuts, french toast, yogurt, fresh fruit & ham or bacon".

This new breakfast seasoning could really work some magic on apple slices, or even hot, buttery, salty popcorn.
