'Tis the season for the holiday travel rush and Los Angeles is still the GOAT when it comes to transportation anxiety.

According to reports, 55 million Americans will be hitting the road this Thanksgiving (2.9% increase from last year) and that is only second to the all-time record set back in 2005. Locally, we will see a busier I-10 and I-49 as families do multiple Thanksgivings with everyone from in-laws to immediate family.

But as bad as traffic may seem while you travel this holiday weekend, just be glad you don't have to endure Thanksgiving traffic in Los Angeles.

Every year we look at this overhead view and it seems like a hot pool of headlights and brake lights as thousands of cars literally crawl to their holiday destinations.

Be safe wherever you're headed this weekend and enjoy family, fun, and of course—food.
