Louisiana Native James Dupre Covers ‘Sure Be Cool If You Did’ [Video]

James Dupré has been a local favorite here in Acadiana for quite some time now. The Bayou Chicot native got a big break a couple of years ago when Ellen Degeneres caught wind of him via his many popular YouTube videos.

Since then James has been tearing up the local scene, quickly garnering a big following.

Oh, and he signed a record deal with Warner Brothers in Nashville! He's currently working on his debut album for the label and we're hoping for big things.

In the meantime, James keeps putting out killer covers of some of his favorite artists via his YouTube channel. The latest effort has folks talking. It's his version of Blake Shelton's latest hit "Sure Be Cool If You Did."
