Louisiana Shoppers Gearing Up For Amazon Prime Day Event
Online retailer Amazon has announced the dates for what has become one of the largest shopping events of the year. The Prime Day sales event will give shoppers two days of rare deals and discounts if they make their purchases during the specified times.
Many Louisiana companies feature their products on Amazon and many of those companies could be included in the giant savings event. The company also operates a fulfillment center in Lafayette and has just announced plans for another facility to be built in Abbeville.
Of course, what would any good sale be without a pre-sales event to "prime the Prime Day pump"? Those early bird deals are happening now and you can peruse the site to see if any of them suit your needs or fulfill the requests of those in your family.
The online retailer is also adding an air of mystery and urgency to the Prime Day event by offering new deals every half hour during select periods of the Prime Day event. Amazon says some of the deals will come from very well-known brands such as Lancome, Kerastase, Peloton, Victoria's Secret, YETI, Sony, and others.
Those who are members of Amazon Prime can also request invitations to another selection of deals that are available by invitation only. It's been reported that Prime members can request access to deals on televisions, watches, electronics, and personal care items which will not be offered to the general public.
It should be noted that just because you request an invitation doesn't mean you'll get one. Those who are chosen to get the deals will receive a notice during the Amazon Prime Day event.
This year's Prime Day Event is scheduled for July 11th and 12th. The event begins at 2 pm on the 11th and will run through the end of the day on the 12th. Shoppers will have less than two full days to peruse the bargains and the deals.
