Urgent Amazon Recall – Products Put Children at Risk
(KMDL-FM) This is the time of year when a lot of shopping is done with children in mind. In most cases, we adults, along with the help of Santa and his elves, strive to find great gifts for the little ones on our list. However, there have been three urgent recalls from the Consumer Product Safety Commission regarding children's products that parents, grandparents, and those who might be shopping for children will want to be aware of.
The products in question are sold nationally via the online retailer Amazon. The official recall notices were placed on Thursday. The reason for the recall is quite simple. The recalled products can pose a danger or health risk to little ones who might use them.

It is especially important that those grandparents, in particular, who may have shopped for these products before the recall notice was issued, be aware that the products have been recalled. If you have purchased a Baby Bath Seat, an Infant Walker, or a Little Mermaid Costume, then you'll need to read further and get specific details about the products the CPSC and Amazon don't want you to use around your kids.
Baby Bath Seats Sold on Amazon Recalled for Safety Reasons
The issue with the YCXXKJ Baby Bath Seat is its stability. The bath seat violates the mandatory standard for stability, and the seat can tip over in the bath with the child in it. Consumers should refrain from using this seat immediately. In order to obtain a full refund, Consumers should send two photos of the recalled bath seats to BenTalk at bentalkhere@outlook.com. The first photo should have “Recalled” written on the front of the bath seat in permanent marker. The second photo should show the bath seat disassembled with the components removed.
Amazon and CPSC Recall Infant Walker over Safety Concerns
This infant walker is the Uuoeebb Infant Walker. It has been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and Amazon for some very serious defects. The walkers can fit through a standard doorway and do not provide the ability to stop at the edge of a step. This could lead to a risk of injury or death because of a fall. The leg openings in the walker are also too wide. An infant's head can become stuck in one of the openings. This could lead to serious injury or death.
In order to obtain a refund, Consumers should disassemble the walker, remove the fabric seat, write “Recalled” on the top of the tray in permanent marker, and email a photo of the recalled infant walker to BaoD at Uuoeebbrecalls@outlook.com. Consumers should dispose of the recalled infant walkers in accordance with state and local waste disposal procedures.
Which Children's Costumes Have Been Recalled by Amazon and the CPSC?
A selection of children's costumes, including the one pictured, a Little Mermaid outfit, has been recalled over concerns of exposure to a prohibited phthalate, which violates the federal phthalates ban. Phthalates are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. Consumers are strongly encouraged not to let children play with these costumes.
If you'd like to secure a refund for that purchase, Contact SKCAIHT Direct for a full refund. Consumers should cut the dress and submit a photo of the destroyed costume to pafiney@outlook.com.
Amazon does keep a running list of recalled items that have been sold via its website. It's always a good idea to stay abreast of the latest consumer safety information, especially if it pertains to items you're purchasing for your children or grandchildren.
